Chef Sanjaya Mangalagama

Currently, the Resort Executive Chef at Predator Ridge in Vernon, BC, Sanjaya is originally from Sri Lanka and a graduate of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management. Sanjaya started his formal career in 2004 after joining the Hilton Hotel in Colombo where he had the opportunity to learn all aspects of kitchen operations while serving many foreign dignitaries and delegates. Since moving to Canada, he has worked as places such as Macdonald Island Park in Alberta, considered to be the largest recreational centre in the country and the Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna. Sanjaya strongly believes in changing the one-dimensional culinary style in the Okanagan Valley and adding more spice and flavor to food while making it affordable. He is a huge advocate for creating a better work environment and culture between the Chefs and Cooks he works with.
