DESCRIPTION:Do you own a power boat moored in the KYC basin? Do you have a power boat and are waiting for moorage? \nIf you answered yes to any of these questions you are a member of the Kelowna Yacht Club Power Fleet! \nThe current Staff Captain\, Ryan Archambault\, would like to invite you to join the fleet for an annual social. Enjoy a complimentary beverage\, some snacks and a chance to meet fellow power fleet members. \nThis event is free and open to all power boaters of KYC. \nSpinnaker Room | 1:30PM – 3:00PM \nRegistration is recommended. \n  \n\n

SUMMARY:Remembrance Day
DESCRIPTION:The Kelowna Yacht Club would like to honour those who gave their lives while serving our country and to all of those in uniform who served and are currently serving. \nOn November 11\, the Kelowna Yacht Club will be lowering the flags and laying a wreath. \nThe City of Kelowna will be holding a parade and ceremony at the City Park Cenotaph. \nThe Member Lounge will be open on November 11 from 9:30AM – 2:30PM with a brunch buffet including soup & sandwich being offered. There will not be any other menus available and the Member Lounge will be closed at 3:00PM. On this day\, a portion of the proceeds from all drink purchases in the Member Lounge and The Galley Lakeside Cafe will be donated to the Royal Canadian Legion Kelowna Branch.  \nMembers of the Power and Sail Fleet who would like to attend the ceremony by vessel will be meeting on the water near the City Park Cenotaph. At the 11th hour\, there will be a moment of silence and lowering of flags by all vessels in attendance. \nCheck back for the special Brunch Menu.
