DESCRIPTION:The annual Blind Fishing Derby returns! \nEach year\, the Kelowna Yacht Club partners with members of the visually impaired community for a memorable morning on Okanagan Lake. Participants are paired with volunteer skippers for a morning of fishing or cruising before returning to the Club for a BBQ lunch and prizes. \nProudly hosted by the Power Fleet Committee\, this annual event is a wonderful opportunity for KYC members to share their love of boating and the lake with our community. \nWho is this event for?\nThe Blind Fishing Derby welcomes members of the visually impaired community to enjoy a morning on the water alongside KYC volunteers and skippers. \nThe Experience\nParticipants will arrive at the Club for a welcome and registration before boarding with volunteer skippers.
