Join the KYC Boat Club and enjoy boating all season long!

The KYC Boat Club is perfect for members who want to get out on the water regularly throughout the summer. The 2026 rental season runs from May 15 to October 15, and members can choose from a variety of boats in the KYC fleet, including pontoons, bowriders, new high‑end wakesport powerboats, and even sailboats.

With limited registration, Boat Club offers KYC members access to rentals at below market‑average rates. It’s designed specifically for those who plan to spend plenty of time on the water and want an easy, flexible way to enjoy boating all season.

2026 Boat Club is $2,575 plus applicable taxes and includes:

  • 20 Hours of No Charge Rentals  |  Get out on the water and enjoy all Okanagan Lake offers!
    All 20 hours can be booked in advance with the KYC Watersports Team. 
  • 25% Discount on Boat Rental Rates for the Season  |  Receive 25% off the already low rental rates!
    Discounts are available after your 20 hours have been utilized. 
  • On-Water Orientation · Demo Day |   Optional: It is best to schedule early in the rental season to test out the boats! The demo date will be announced early in the season.
  • Unlimited Kayak/Paddleboard Rentals and Paddle Programming  |  Complimentary Paddle Club membership for the season (excluding storage) | Set out on the lake on a paddle vessel, another great perk of joining the Boat Club!
More Great Perks.
  • We make it easy for you to get out on the lake – no need to be a docking pro. The Marina Services Team will have the boat ready and waiting for you to set off; they will also be waiting for your return, so no docking is needed.
  • Boat Club Members have the additional privilege to book in advance.
  • Free watersport toys are available to add to any rental.

  • Discounted insurance for the season (optional) – Exclusive for Boat Club Members, have the option to pay $150* in advance for boating insurance for the full season rather than $49/rental.
  • Don’t have your PCOC? Don’t worry; we can help you get yours before the season begins!
New for 2026.
  • Discounted fuel surcharge (optional) – Exclusive for Boat Club Members, have the Marina Services Team refuel the boat for you after your rental, discounted to $35/booking, saving $15/booking.
    Note: If not pre-arranged during the booking process, the standard $100 refueling surcharge will apply.
  • Pre-purchase an additional 10 Weekday Hours (optional) – Exclusive for Boat Club Members, and by popular request, members are able to choose to add more hours for their summer experience for only $1,200*.
    Note: Only applicable to mid-week rentals.

Registration for the Boat Club is simple and available for any KYC members over the age of 25 years old who hold a valid PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) – also required to rent boats from KYC. Non-refundable.

KYC Boat Rentals are not to be used for any commercial purposes. Commercial solicitation of any kind is prohibited.

Registration for Boat Club 2026

2026 BOAT CLUB INCLUDES:

2026 BOAT CLUB FEES:

$2,575 per Membership + applicable taxes

Fee:         $2,575
GST:        $128.75
TOTAL:   $2,703.75 for the 2026 Season 

An additional cost of $150.00 + applicable taxes will be added to the above Boat Club Fees. (Usual price is $49.00 per rental)
An additional cost of $1200.00 + applicable taxes will be added to the above Boat Club Fees. (Please note these 10 hours will only be applicable to WEEKDAY Bookings)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment. All Boat Club fees are due upon confirmation of your spot, and the Welcome email. The lump sum will be charged to your Member Account. Please note that Boat Club Fees include any cost stated herein, including but not limited to Boat Club Fees, Additional Hours and Insurance Fees.

No Refunds or Transfers. All Boat Club fees paid hereunder, are non-refundable or transferable except as specifically set out herein.

Environmental Contaminants. The Member shall read, understand and adhere to the Club’s Environmental Policy.

No Interference. The Member shall not conduct him/herself in a manner that is detrimental to the safety or the quiet enjoyment of Kelowna Yacht Club premises by others.

Boat Rental Agreement. The Member will be required to complete a rental agreement and safety checklist prior to each rental booking.

Termination by Kelowna Yacht Club for Cause. Without further notice, Kelowna Yacht Club shall be entitled to terminate this agreement with no further notice to the Member in the following circumstances. Termination for cause will result in forfeiting of all fees and remaining hours.

  • · The Member, or the Member’s family, guests or invitees, violating any other term of this agreement, Club bylaws, or policies, including but not limited to; mistreatment of staff.
  • · Improper or reckless use of the equipment without the appropriate safety requirements.
  • · Misuse and/or non-compliance to local, provincial and maritime laws, guidelines or policies. Including but not limited to, operating a vessel under the influence, unsafe towing or unsafe speed.

Termination by Kelowna Yacht Club Not for Cause. Notwithstanding anything else herein to the contrary, Kelowna Yacht Club shall be entitled to terminate this agreement at any time without cause by providing the Member 10 days’ notice and a refund of any Boat Club fee paid which is applicable to the period of time after this Agreement is terminated.
