Meet Rodney and Gloria Lozinski, a dynamic duo who have been yacht club members since 1994. It all started with a chance encounter over thirty years ago when the couple stumbled upon the old clubhouse. The sounds of loud music and laughter drew them in, and little did they know that this place would become their second home for decades to come.

As active volunteers within the Club, Rodney and Gloria have become pillars of the community and instrumental in upholding its many traditions. They firmly believe in giving back to their community without expecting anything in return. In fact, they have been consistently volunteering for events such as the Blind Fishing Derby, Big Bike Ride, Boat for Hope, Boat Show, Swim Across the Lake, Invasion, and so much more.

They have made countless friends from different cities and countries through KYC’s reciprocal privileges, as well as participated in other Club’s events around the lake as a volunteer representative of KYC.

However, their impact goes even further with their volunteer work. Rodney and Gloria have served on the Board of Directors, with Rodney taking on the role of Staff Captain in 2019 and Gloria following suit in 2023. Over the last few years alone, Rodney has dedicated more than 100 hours of his time in supporting the Membership Committee by meeting with prospective members and serving as their sponsor to help them join the Club.
