For eight decades, Kelowna Yacht Club has been a gathering place on Okanagan Lake, a hub for friendship, celebration, and community spirit. This October, we invite you to mark this milestone with an evening that honours our past while celebrating our future.

Join us as we transform the entire Clubhouse into an immersive gala experience filled with music, food, and energy unlike anything else in our history.

Tickets: $150
Each ticket includes entry into the event, access to over a dozen food stations throughout the evening, all beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, and all of the amazing surprises we have planned. Tickets are inclusive of tax and gratuities.

Doors Open: 6:30 & 7:00PM
As we will be seeing large number of attendees, check-in will be split into two time periods. You may select your desired check-in time when registering for your ticket. Check-in will be at the West-side of the building, please follow the directional signs that will lead you to the correct spot that evening.

Social Hour: 6:30-8:30PM
We encourage you to wander throughout the Club, enjoying the many food and drink stations and entertainment amenities.

Live Music: 8:30-11:30PM
Back by popular demand, Vancouver’s electrifying 9-piece band, The Phonix, will be making the dance floor the place to be.

Food & Drink Stations:
Timing for food & drink stations will vary throughout the night, as we will rotate through a number of delicious and surprising options, ending in our late-night snack bar!

Seating:
This event is designed as a stand-up, mix-and-mingle evening, with limited lounge-style seating throughout the Clubhouse. To ensure those who require seating due to mobility or accessibility needs are accommodated, we kindly ask members to indicate this when booking tickets. Seating will otherwise be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Dress Code:
Attire for the evening will be semi-formal, black tie (cocktail dresses, suits, gowns, elegant evening wear).

Guests:
UPDATE: KYC Members can now bring up to six (6) guests per membership. Should more attendee space be available, we may allow additional guests and reciprocal members at a future date.

· Cancellations prior to October 10 at 5:00PM PDT: Full Refund
· Cancellations between October 10 at 5:01PM PDT & October 15 at 5:00 PM PDT: 50% Refund
· Cancellations after October 15 at 5:01PM PDT: No Refund

FAQ

Will there be assigned seating?
No, there will not be assigned seating. Seating will be limited and spread throughout the Clubhouse. This is primarily a stand-up event designed for mingling, dining, and dancing. Members who require reserved seating for accessibility reasons will be accommodated. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes!

Is the Member Lounge open for dining this day?
No, the Member Lounge will be closed for the entire day on October 18 in preparation. The Galley Lakeside Cafe will be open for our Members from 7:30AM-5:00PM. The Member Lounge will resume regular operating hours on Sunday, October 19.

What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes access to all food stations throughout the evening, unlimited beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, and live entertainment. Spirits and cocktails are available for purchase.

Will there be a plated meal?
No. Instead, you will be able to enjoy a variety of curated food stations located throughout the Clubhouse, designed for a social, walk-around dining experience.

Can I bring guests?
Yes. Each membership may bring up to six (6) guests. This limit may increase at a future date depending on ticket availability.

Where will the event take place?
The entire Clubhouse will be transformed for this event, including the Member Lounge, Atriums, Banquet room & patios.

What is the dress code?
Semi-formal or black-tie attire is encouraged. Think cocktail dresses, suits, gowns or elegant evening wear.

What is the cancellation policy?
· Cancellations prior to October 10 at 5:00PM PDT: Full Refund
· Cancellations between October 10 at 5:01PM PDT & October 15 at 5:00 PM PDT: 50% Refund

Are children allowed to attend?
This will be an adult-focused evening. We recommend making alternate arrangements for your little ones so you can fully enjoy the celebration.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. Will there be options?
Yes. A variety of food stations will include options suitable for common dietary needs. Please note any allergies and restrictions in the booking notes. 

Where do I put my purse or bag?
As there are no assigned seats, we recommend that you check your purse or bag at coat check or choose a purse/bag that is comfortable to wear throughout the evening. There will be a variety of seating areas throughout the event, however, we do not recommend leaving your belongings unattended as KYC assumes no responsibility for any missing items.

Can I purchase additional food during this event?
No, a la carte dining will not be available for this event.

Can I purchase additional drinks during this event?
Yes. Although all beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages are included within the ticket price, specialty cocktails and spirits are available for purchase.

Can I purchase a ticket without any food or beverages included?
No. Given the immersive style and size of this event, we will only be offering one ticket option for purchase which automatically includes food, beer, wine & non-alcoholic beverages.

How do I pay for my ticket and when am I charged?
Tickets are purchased online via the KYC website. Tickets are automatically purchased one you register and will appear on your statement the day of the event. Please note our cancellation policy stated above. No ticket payment will be required the night of the event.

I am bringing a guest to the event. How do they pay?
All tickets will be charged to the appropriate member’s account, including guests. Arrangements for payment from any guests will be between the guest and the member. 

I am a reciprocal club member, am I able to purchase a ticket?
At this time, only KYC members are able to attend so that we can ensure we have enough space for all of our members who would like to attend. Please note, we may allow reciprocal club members at a future date dependent on ticket availability.
