2026 Kelowna Boat Show Volunteers
Saturday, April 25 & Sunday, April 26
We’re excited to host the 2026 Kelowna Boat Show on April 25 and 26! As in previous years, we’re looking for volunteers to support a variety of roles throughout the event. If you’re available for one or more shifts, we would greatly appreciate your help. We are currently seeking approximately 80 – 90 volunteers.
If you’ve already expressed interest but haven’t yet completed the volunteer form, please take a moment to do so to assist with scheduling. Volunteer roles will be assigned upon arrival; however, below are examples of the positions available:
- Clubhouse Ambassadors – Provide directions and answer general questions about the Show or the Club.
- Membership Ambassadors – Engage with prospective and current members, sharing membership experiences.
- Show Ambassadors – Located on the promenade, encourage passersby to visit the Show and stop by the Club.
- Gate Ambassadors – Welcome guests at the dock entrance, accept entry donations, and provide general information. This is a great role for families.
- Bridge Ambassadors – Assist with directions and help attendees safely cross between docks if needed.
- Main Dock Ambassadors – Help guide foot traffic, ensuring members can access their boats while directing attendees back to the Show.
- Exit Ambassadors – Thank attendees for coming, gather feedback, and encourage visits to the Club.
- Closing Ambassadors – Assist with teardown and coordination of boat departures at the end of the event on Sunday.
Volunteer shifts are 2.5 hours long, starting at 9:45 AM, with most ending between 4:15 PM and 5:00 PM each day. You’re welcome to sign up for one or multiple shifts. Any time you can give is greatly appreciated.
