The annual Blind Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, September 21!
Each year, the Kelowna Yacht Club partners with the visually impaired in our community to bring them out for a morning of fishing, cruising and enjoying time on the lake. Following their time on the water, all participants and volunteers head back to the marina to enjoy a BBQ and see who caught the biggest fish! This annual event is proudly hosted by the Power Fleet Committee.
We are currently seeking volunteers and skippers to provide a memorable experience on the water, whether it be to take participants fishing, taking them for a cruise around the lake or just lending fishing gear. If you are interested in volunteering, please register by the button above.
