Corporate Designees

Corporate memberships at KYC include three (3) designees but can have up to six (6) designees. For every additional corporate designee after the first three, additional fees apply (Current posted rates), including an additional $500 prepaid minimum spend.

The Primary Member is considered one of the initial three designees.

Primary Member – A Designee

The Primary member of a Corporate Membership is the decider on the financial, membership, and moorage aspects of the corporate account. The Primary Member shall also be ultimately responsible and accountable for the actions of all corporate designees, and their guests.

The Primary Member of the Corporate Account is also listed as the ‘A Designee’ and can only be changed by delivery of written notification on the company’s letterhead by the existing Primary Member. The Primary Member is considered one of the initial three designees.

Additionally, a member of your team can be added to manage your account from a financial and administrative perspective. This person is not a designee and does not have signing authority on the membership.

If your submitted Letter of Intent has the individual authorized to represent the organization in all Club-related decisions is not going to be the Primary Member on the account that person will be listed as the ‘decision maker’ of the membership.

Designee List

Please list your designees here, with their contact info. The Club will send a small application to each designee to gather their information and have them acknowledge some Club information. Please inform each Designee to accept, read and action the email they receive from the Kelowna Yacht Club to begin the process of activating their membership.

As with any membership, each member designee proposed by the corporation will be required to have the two (2) sponsor members, be approved by the KYC Board of Directors, and complete all required onboarding processes.
