Yes, I am aware of the timeline, and I am happy to wait and proceed with a winterization at the earliest available date.
That date is too late in the season, I will look for another vendor to winterize my boat.

Heaters

For any boats that have not yet been winterized members may use a heater (that complies with moorage regulations) in their boat that they will check regularly as temperatures may drop below freezing

Below is the Club's policy on heaters.

POL_OP044 Club Moorage Policy

23. As per the National Fire Protection Association Guidelines, whereas it is recommended that portable heaters are not used on boats when the vessel is unattended, Members using portable heating devices for temporary use or otherwise, are using them at their own risk and should consider the following when purchasing a portable heater. The heater shall be:

CSA Approved (or UL),
Energy Efficient – self-regulating and has an antifreeze setting,
Non-tipping,
Designed with Spark Protection
No Open Flame
Always be used as specified by the manufacturer, and
in accordance with the Moorage Regulations, must not be Reflective, flame, or be oil-burning type heaters unless the Member is in attendance.

F Dock

Starting this winter, we will be undertaking extensive work on F Dock, fully replacing the main dock structure, decking and floats, as well as removing mid-slip tie-up piles, and more.

Because you are on F Dock, please complete these tasks by October 15 *

Please remove all items from your dock box
Leave your dock box unlocked, please secure the lid with a zap strap or a zip tie to secure the lid.

All dock boxes will be removed and then re-installed upon completion of the dock maintenance work.

Because you are on F Dock, please complete these tasks by October 31 *

Please remove your vessel along with your lines and any accessories around your slip.
Items permanently attached at your slip, will be dealt with by the Club.

As you are remaining in the basin via Winter Moorage at the Club. An alternative slip will be assigned to you for the improvement period.

A - B Docks

Vessels on A and B dock are at risk for freezing during the winter, as such we recommend moving your boat to a slip deeper in the basin. Our moorage co-ordinator will provide you with a temporary over-winter slip. *

C - E Docks

If I need to move my vessel to deeper water for the winter due potential freezing, or to be placed beside the member who is looking after my boat during the winter. The member is required to move their vessel to the newly assigned temporary slip.

Reminders

Any Member intending to leave their vessel in the moorage basin between November 1 and April 15, must complete this application. Where a moorage slip has been vacated for the winter season by a Moorage Member, the Club may temporarily reassign such slip. *

All ropes and accessories are to be removed from around the slip. KYC is not responsible for loss or theft of any items not removed.
All dock boxes must be secured and have no flammable material inside.
Heaters are only permitted as per Club Policy.
In accordance with Club Policy, it is the responsibility of the mooring individual to ensure their boat is checked and maintained in accordance to their individual insurance requirements.
