In becoming a volunteer/participant in the Kelowna Yacht Club Blind Fishing Derby, I do hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Kelowna Yacht Club, their officers, trustees, members representative agents, officials, servants, and representatives from any and all liabilities incurred or suffered by myself, with respect to any and all claims of whatsoever nature, whether at law, in equity, or in admiralty including, particularly, but not by way of limitation, all claims of property damage, personal injury, death or consequential loss or damage arising out of my participation out of or in connection with my taking part of this event notwithstanding that the same may have contributed to or caused or occasioned by the negligence of same bodies, or any of their agents, officials, servants, or representatives. I further understand an agree that this release is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns.
I have read the above release, understand and the part(s) I do not understand have been explained to me and I agree to abide by those conditions.

For the safety of all participants, instructors, members and colleagues, the Kelowna Yacht Club will comply with all the latest mandated regulations by the Provincial Health Officer. Should any new mandates come into place prior to your event, the Kelowna Yacht Club will connect with you. In order for you (your child) to attend our program(s), and be in the Club, you must agree to the following:

I do not have COVID, nor have I had COVID symptoms in the last five (5) days.
I will follow all posted and verbal health and safety notices.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read the rules and regulations and the COVID safety plan. I acknowledge and understand the following: (1) Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exists; (2) I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties
