No boat? No problem, we’ve got you covered! Join the KYC Boat Club and enjoy boating all season long!

The KYC Boat Club is designed for members who are interested in getting out onto the water regularly throughout the summer months. The 2024 rental season will run from May 10th to October 15th, and you will have the choice to rent any of the available boats within the KYC fleet. The boats range from pontoons, bowriders, wake sport powerboats, and even sailboats.

The KYC Boat Club has limited registration and boat rentals are available to all KYC members throughout the season at below market-average prices. With Boat Club is specifically designed for members that are planning to frequently get out onto the water, if you are concerned that you may not utilize all of the included hours of a Boat Club membership, renting boats at your convenience would be a better option.

2024 Boat Club is $2,500 plus applicable taxes and includes:

  • 16 Hours of No Charge Rentals  |  Get out on the water and enjoy all Okanagan Lake offers!
    All 16 hours can be booked in advance with the KYC Watersports Team. 
  • 25% Discount on Boat Rental Rates for the Season  |  Receive 25% off the already low rental rates!
    Discounts are available after your 16 hours have been utilized. 
  • On-Water Orientation | An option for members, and it is best to be scheduled early in the rental season.
  • Unlimited Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals  |  Set out on the lake on a paddle vessel, another great perk of joining the Boat Club!

Registration for the Boat Club is simple and available for any KYC members over the age of 25 years old who hold a valid PCOC (Pleasure Craft Operator Card). Also required to rent boats from KYC. 

KYC Boat Rentals are not to be used for any commercial purposes. Commercial solicitation of any kind is prohibited.

2024 KYC Boat Club Application Agreement

2024 BOAT CLUB INCLUDES:

    All 16 hours are eligible to be booked in advance with the KYC Watersports Team.

2024 BOAT CLUB FEES:

$2,500 per Membership + applicable taxes

Fee:         $2,500 
GST:        $125
TOTAL:   $2,625 for the 2024 Season 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • ◾ Payment. Boat Club fees are due upon confirmation of your spot by the Watersports team
  • ◾ No Refunds or Transfers. All Boat Club fees paid hereunder, are non-refundable or transferable except as specifically set out herein
  • ◾ Environmental Contaminants. The Member shall read, understand and adhere to the Club’s Environmental Policy
  • ◾ No Interference. The Member shall not conduct him/herself in a manner that is detrimental to the safety or the quiet enjoyment of Kelowna Yacht Club premises by others
  • ◾ Boat Rental Agreement. The Member will be required to complete a rental agreement and safety checklist prior to each rental booking
  • ◾ Termination by Kelowna Yacht Club for Cause. Without further notice, Kelowna Yacht Club shall be entitled to terminate this agreement with no further notice to the Member in the following circumstances:
    • ▪ the Member, or the Member’s family, guests or invitees, violating any other term of this agreement, Club bylaws, or policies
    • ▪ improper or reckless use of the equipment without the appropriate safety requirements
    • ▪ misuse and/or non-compliance to local, provincial and maritime laws, guidelines or policies
  • ◾ Termination by Kelowna Yacht Club Not for Cause. Notwithstanding anything else herein to the contrary, Kelowna Yacht Club shall be entitled to terminate this agreement at any time without cause by providing the Member 10 days’ notice and a refund of any Boat Club fee paid which is applicable to the period of time after this Agreement is terminated
