The premier Regatta of Okanagan Lake is bigger, better, and bolder for 2025, now with a fresh new twist for the next generation of sailors.

New for 2025 – introducing the U35 edition of the Commodore’s Cup: fresh wind, fast boats, and good vibes. It’s all about fun, friendly racing and connecting with fellow sailors under 35.

Regatta Dates: August 15-17, 2025

Prepare yourself for a weekend of racing, music, fun, drinks, food and a whole lot of regattatude!

PLEASE NOTE, due to capacity limitations, only a select number of regatta tickets remain available. Once sold out, no further regatta tickets will be available for purchase.

Friday, August 15

Welcome Social, Registration & BBQ
All regatta participants are invited to a weekend kick-off party on the KYC docks! The evening will include registration—where you’ll find out your boat and team—plus games, live music, and a BBQ. This event is included with full regatta registration. The dock is BYOB, so bring your favourite beverages, and we’ll provide the BBQ.

Saturday, August 16

Race Day & Social
Start the morning with breakfast in the Clubhouse, followed by a welcome meeting for all attendees. Then, head to your assigned boat and get ready for a fantastic day on the water! After the final race, enjoy drinks and cold treats delivered right to your boat. That evening, gather in the Clubhouse for a group dinner, sailing trivia with great giveaways, and a DJ to close out the night.

Final Races & Awards
Enjoy one last day of racing on the water! Start with breakfast in the clubhouse, then head out for the final races of the weekend. Wrap up the event with a brisket BBQ and our awards banquet back at the clubhouse.

Joining as an individual

When registering, answer “No” to the “already on a crew” question. This will inform the organizers that you need to be assigned to a vessel.

Joining as a team

When registering, answer “Yes” to the “already on a crew” question. Then, in the field below, supply the details of your team’s name, skipper, and vessel, so that you can be grouped together. 

Sailing Experience

Please answer this field, as it will ensure that participants are appropriately assigned to a vessel and skipper coach for the Regatta.

KYC Members

To have your ticket member charged at the checkout page, apply the coupon code (case sensitive): KYCMemberCharge. Copy or write this code down, as you won’t see it on the checkout page.

Dietary Restrictions

KYC is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. If you have any, please add those restrictions to the registration.

Marina Access Cards for Crew

Activation Fee – $10

Purchase a Card – $10

If you have a card from this season of KYC racing or a regatta from this year, your card should work for this regatta. If you do not have a card or have not activated it yet this season, please contact the Kelowna Yacht Club Front Office to complete payment and have your card reactivated remotely. If you need a card, one will be issued to you at the time of in-person payment. New cards do not come pre-activated.
