2026 Vernon Regatta

June 5–7, 2026

The Vernon Regatta returns June 5–7, 2026, and we are excited to welcome competitors, crews, families, and friends back to the Vernon Yacht Club for another fantastic weekend of racing, camaraderie, and celebration.

Following an unforgettable 2025 regatta featuring the Santana 525 Nationals—and a memorable windstorm on Saturday afternoon—we can only imagine what exciting conditions, close competition, and great stories 2026 will bring.

We look forward to welcoming sailors from clubs throughout Okanagan Lake and beyond. Whether you’re a returning competitor or joining us for the first time, we’re thrilled to have you as part of this historic regatta.

Weekend Schedule

The festivities begin on Friday, June 5 at 2:00 PM with the traditional Whiskey Island Race, held in memory of Richard Rotteveel. Vernon sailors will rendezvous with competitors arriving from the south at the Whiskey Island start line before beginning the race north to Vernon.

The weekend continues with two exciting days of racing on the water, complemented by lively social events ashore featuring great food, refreshments, music, and the company of fellow sailors, crews, family, and friends.
