Wellness Series: Breathwork & Journaling

Take an intentional pause this spring with our four-part wellness series, designed to support both mind and body.

Who Is This Series For?

This series is open to KYC member and their guests. All sessions are beginner-friendly and suitable for anyone looking to explore movement, mindfulness or relaxation โ€“ no prior experience required.

The Experience:

Led by local wellness expert Monika Rau, this series is thoughtfully curated to help you unwind and feel your best. Each session includes a guided 50-minute experience, complimentary herbal tea provided by Chaibaba,ย and a curated goodie bag featuring local wellness providers.

What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle for movement-based sessions. Comfortable clothing is recommended for all workshops. Water is available onsite, though reusable bottles are encouraged.

Dress Code:
Comfortable, movement-friendly attire (athleisure or casual wellness wear).

Cost: $25* per session

Cancellation Policy:ย Registrations can be cancelled until 2 days before the event at 12:00 am. Registrations cancelled fewer than 2 days prior to the event at 12:00 am will be charged 100% of the registration fee.

Do I need prior experience to attend?
No experience is required for any session. All workshops are beginner-friendly and guided, with options offered throughout.

What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle for movement-based sessions. Comfortable clothing and a water bottle are recommended for all workshops. Water can be provided if needed but we encourage participants to bring a reusable bottle!

Can I get changed at the club?
Participants are welcome to get changed in the bathrooms in a stall or in the private member showers on the main floor.

What is Candlelit Yoga? (March 17 | 6:00 PM)
Candlelit Yoga is a gentle, slow-moving yoga class focused on relaxation, stretching, and mindful movement. The softly lit space creates a calming atmosphere to help you unwind and release tension.

What happens during Breathwork & Journaling? (March 19 | 7:00 AM)
This session explores the connection between breathwork and journaling, with guidance on how intentional breathing can support reflection, emotional regulation, and clarity. Youโ€™ll be guided through breathwork followed by journaling prompts, and a journal will be provided for you.

What is a Meditation & Sound Bath? (March 24 | 6:00 PM)
This experience combines guided meditation with soothing sound vibrations to promote deep relaxation and mental clarity. Participants remain seated or lying down throughout the session. Feel free to bring a blanket and wear something cozy to enhance your comfort.

What can I expect from Mat Pilates? (March 26 | 7:00 AM)
Mat Pilates is a low-impact workout focused on core strength, stability, posture, and controlled movement. Exercises are done on the mat using body weight, with modifications available.
