Membership Amenities and Key Card Usage Policy *

Yes, I understand that those who are officially listed on my membership, to be governed by the Code of Conduct & Regulations of the Kelowna Yacht Club, the Club Bylaws and Policies as set forth by the membership and Board of Directors.

Regular to Lifestyle

Change your membership from a Regular to a Lifestyle status.

Information to know before switching from a Regular Membership to a Lifestyle Membership

Benefits exclusive to a Regular Membership:

– Eligible to hold a moorage slip at a below-market-value rate and a superior location.
– 24-hour access to full dock and moorage basin.
– Have a say in how your Club is run with voting privileges and eligibility to hold office with the Board of Directors.
– Opportunity for your children, to be part of your membership until they are 19 without paying additional dues and fees
– Benefits for your immediate family. Your children listed on your membership before their 19th birthday are able to maintain membership without paying any initiation fee.
– Be able to take a 1-year leave without approval from the Board of Directors.

Switching Back | If you wish to boat again

– If you decide to once again become boat owners, or a boat partner and to have moorage here at KYC you would need to become a regular member once again before you can even go on the waitlist for a spot in the moorage basin.
– To become a Regular member from a Lifestyle membership you will be required to pay the initiation fee difference. At the time of your desired switch. Currently (as of Aug 2024), that difference is $5,775.00 plus GST. The current initiation rates: (Regular $11,550) and (Lifestyle $5,775).

The difference in yearly dues and fees are:
Regular: $1,354.00
Lifestyle: $1,063.00

Both include a $500 prepaid house account (prepaid spend)
Effective November 1, 2024, the above dues and fees apply.

Lifestyle to Regular

Fee Schedule

Fees and services may change without notice. Annual membership expenses consist of dues, fees, and assessments. If applicable, for changes approved after November 30th, select annual expenses are subject to prorated pricing for the first fiscal year of membership.
