Reciprocal Moorage Request

Requests for temporary reciprocal moorage will open again in the spring.

Take part in an extraordinary Earth Day Quest, taking place on April 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in Downtown Kelowna! Discover the wonders of our planet as you embark on a captivating journey filled with engaging activities that teach you about crucial environmental topics. Unlock the secrets as you decode clues that lead to eco-prizes. Let’s celebrate Earth Day together while making a positive impact on our beautiful world!

1.) Start at any of the locations below to begin your Earth Day Quest.
2.) Visit each location to complete the activity and find the answers to the questions on the online quiz form below.
3.) Once you have completed your online quiz form, you will be entered into the eco-prizes draw.

There are amazing eco-prizes that are up for grabs from some of the best businesses in Downtown Kelowna.

The Earth Day Quest Online Quiz form will be open for submissions on April 12, 2025, between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

We want to congratulate Bill Thompson on being awarded Life Membership at the Kelowna Yacht Club! This honour reflects his outstanding contributions and dedicated service to our Club.

Bill’s financial background and knowledge have been instrumental for the Club through the expansion and move from the old building to our current building, and later through ensuring remedial actions were put into place when needed. Bill is known for his warm spirit, which has greatly impacted our community. Regularly found volunteering on the committee boat, he participates in most sailing races from March to October.

As per our Bylaws, a Life Member must make an exceptional contribution to the welfare and development of the Club. Bill truly embodies the KYC community, and we are grateful for everything he has done for us!

Join us on April 5 as we come together in support of a cleaner, more beautiful Okanagan Lake. From 9:00 to 11:30 AM, take part in our annual Shore Clean-Up along the waterfront. Afterwards, head to the Commodore’s Dock for the Dock Swap, running until 1:30 PM—your opportunity to buy, sell, or trade boating gear with fellow members.

Registration not required. Open to KYC members and their guests.
