If you have a card from previous racing seasons, input the number and you can call in to the Kelowna Yacht Club Front Office to complete payment and have your card re-activated remotely. If you need a new card, one will be issued to you at the time of in-person payment. New cards do not come pre-activated.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY This agreement affects your legal rights. Crew Waiver, Release & Assumption of Risk I acknowledge that I am participating as a crew member in activities organized by the Kelowna Yacht Club, including on‑water racing and related shore‑side activities (the “Activities”). This agreement applies to Kelowna Yacht Club members, guests, and members of the general public. I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to comply with all applicable rules, including the Racing Rules of Sailing, the Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions, and any safety instructions issued by race officials or the Club. Assumption of Risk I understand that sailing and yacht racing are inherently hazardous activities and may involve risks including, but not limited to, adverse weather, collision, equipment failure, and the actions or inactions of others. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Released Parties, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded. Release & Indemnification In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Activities, I hereby agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Kelowna Yacht Club, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, race officials, committee members, sponsors, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from all claims, actions, costs, expenses, or demands arising out of or in connection with my participation, including those resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This release is binding upon myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. Health, Medical Consent & Communications I confirm that I am medically fit to participate. I acknowledge the risk of exposure to communicable diseases (including but not limited to COVID‑19) and voluntarily assume such risks. I authorize the Club to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary and agree to be responsible for any associated costs. I consent to receiving electronic communications from the Kelowna Yacht Club related to racing, safety, or scheduling, in accordance with Canadian Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL). I grant the Kelowna Yacht Club, and its representatives, permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture my name, likeness, image, voice, or appearance during the Activities. I authorize the Kelowna Yacht Club to use such photographs, video recordings, or other media for promotional, educational, informational, or archival purposes, in any medium, without compensation, and without the need for further approval. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
