Staff Appreciation Gala

We invite you to join us for a well-deserved evening to connect, unwind, and celebrate together.

Who Is This Event For?

This event is for KYC staff. Each staff member is also welcome to bring one guest to share in the celebration.

The Experience:

When the boats are quiet and the lights reflect across the water, the celebration begins.

Midnight at the Marina brings together nautical elegance with vibrant late-night energy. Expect a lively atmosphere, great music, and memorable moments with your colleagues.

Your evening will include:

  • A welcome drink to begin the celebration
  • Food stations available throughout the evening for casual dining and mingling
  • A DJ playing a mix of classic favourites and current hits
  • Optional karaoke for those who want to take the stage
  • Prizes and entertainment throughout the night

Dress Code

The dress code is semi-formal.

We encourage guests to dress in a way that feels both polished and comfortable — such as dresses, jumpsuits, button-down shirts, or dress pants. While you are welcome to embrace the “Midnight at the Marina” nautical-glam theme, participation is completely optional.

Most importantly, wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable while enjoying the evening.

FAQs

Do I have to follow the theme?
No. The theme is optional and intended to add to the atmosphere of the evening. You are welcome to participate or simply attend in attire that feels appropriate and comfortable to you.

Will food be provided?
Yes. A variety of food options will be available throughout the evening, including platters, live food station, and a late-night snack.

Are drinks included?
Each guest will receive one welcome drink upon arrival, along with two additional drink tickets.

Is karaoke mandatory?
No. Karaoke is optional entertainment. Guests are welcome to participate or simply enjoy the performances.

Can I bring a guest?
Yes. Each staff member is welcome to bring one guest.

What time does the event end?
The gala will conclude at 11:00 PM.

When do I need to register by?
Please complete your registration by March 2nd to ensure we can accommodate all attendees.

Will there be seating available?
Yes. There will be a mix of seating and standing areas to allow for dining, mingling, and enjoying the entertainment throughout the evening.

Can I update my registration after submitting it?
If you need to make a change to your RSVP (including your guest information), please contact the events team as soon as possible so we can accommodate your request at events@kelownayachtclub.com.

Are dietary restrictions accommodated?
We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs. Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions on your registration form.
